FAQ
Will it work if I’m very thin on top?
Will it work if I’m very thin on top?
Yes — The Duke of Density™ is designed to help at almost every stage of thinning. The fibres latch onto whatever you’ve got (from full strands to short fuzz), and even in very sparse or smoother areas they help darken the scalp and soften the contrast so everything looks more even and filled in.
Will anyone be able to tell I’m using it?
Will anyone be able to tell I’m using it?
Used properly, no. The Duke of Density™ uses ultra-fine, shade-matched fibres that latch onto your existing hair and fuzz, so it looks like naturally fuller hair — not obvious product.
Is it water-resistant?
Is it water-resistant?
Yes. The Duke of Density™ is made to hold up through real life — sweat, humidity, rain, even swimming or showering. Water alone doesn’t easily break it down, so your coverage stays put until you decide to properly wash it out.
What happens if I sweat or work out?
What happens if I sweat or work out?
Go for it. Gym sessions, hot days, and long commutes are exactly what this was built for. The fibres are designed to stay in place through sweat without streaking or running. If you need to towel off, pat instead of aggressively rubbing to keep everything perfect.
How do I remove it at the end of the day?
How do I remove it at the end of the day?
Because it’s so water-resistant, you’ll need a proper wash. Wet your hair, massage in shampoo with your fingertips, and rinse thoroughly. If you’ve applied a lot of product, a second shampoo pass will make sure everything is gone.
How long will one container last?
How long will one container last?
Used as directed, one bottle should last several months, depending on how often you use it and how much coverage you apply each time. Light daily touch-ups or a few crown shakes a week go a long way.
Does it stain clothes, hats, or bedding?
Does it stain clothes, hats, or bedding?
No. The Duke of Density™ is not designed to stain fabrics. If a bit does get onto a shirt, hat, or pillowcase, it should come out with normal laundry. For best results, wash it out of your hair before bed.
Is it okay for a sensitive scalp?
Is it okay for a sensitive scalp?
Yes — most people with sensitive scalps use fibres comfortably because they sit on top of the hair and scalp rather than sinking in. If your skin is healthy and intact, you should be fine. If you know your scalp is reactive, just do a small test area first and see how it feels.
